Hey Y'all!
So I have been extremely busy these past few days, I'm really sorry i haven't been here as much as I would like but I am not going to promise this time it's gonna get any better. The truth is I'm overloaded with stuff to do and my drawing has become sparse.
However I was sitting on top of the old refrigerator outside, (I get a better cell phone signal up there) and suddenly got hit with a wave of inspiration. So I came back in and grabbed my sketch pad! This is just a quick sketch of the neighbor's backyard from where I was sitting, I only did the corner closest to me.. and since the dogs came out at the end and started barking at me they are not in the drawing..
This was actually inspired by the new date of the worldwide sketch crawl! I believe it's the 25th sketch crawl this year and the date is November 21st. Basically it's where people go into groups and on walks in their local towns and sketch what's around them, some for the whole day others for only a few hours. I'm not in a town that has one and I tried to start one up last year with little success so this year I'll just be doing it with some of my online friends.. and we will be posting out results online, most likely.. well I will be at least. In the mean time this was a fun single picture practice run, mom said no more sketching before breakfast so I had to come in and eat. :) And of course grab some fresh coffee.. my favorite part about long days sketching is the endless cups of coffee lol!
