The finished drawing! I had a lot of fun working on this and think that I am finally starting to make some progress. This took about 15 hours to complete in SAI. I've gotten positive feedback for putting up the wips, so you can see the progresses below.
Flat colors... the colors I originally chose didn't work well at all not even mentioning together.
The lineart. This was fairly frustrating as my SAI settings got mixed up somehow and I had to reset them by feel as I didn't know what the were, before I could do the lineart. I actually used a different brush than I normally use.
Started feeling a lot better about the drawing at this point.
After more scribbling I got to this and was ready to scrap the whole thing.
Later decided to try and salvage the idea.
